The Great Amazon River
• Afterwards, departure by car to the port of Leticia.
• Visit to the Amazonian fruit market.
• One-hour boat trip on the Amazon River.
• Arrival at the Tikuna community of Mocagua. Guided tour led by the community.
• After a 40-minute walk through the jungle, visit the Maikuchiga Foundation, created for the protection of primates.
Return to the community; lunch will be at the Payavaru restaurant, an initiative of the indigenous women; accommodation in the homes of indigenous hosts.
• In the late afternoon, a swim in the river, as is tradition among the locals.
• Dinner, and in the evening, a canoe trip along the Matamata stream, experiencing the aromas and sounds of the night jungle.
Tikuna Culture
• Very early, a short walk to the Chagra (indigenous gardens) to gather food for the day.
• Breakfast at the home of indigenous hosts.
• Departure by traditional boat to the town of Puerto Nariño, a 2-hour journey along the great Amazon River.
• Accommodation at the Waira Selva Hotel.
• Lunch and walking tour of the town of Puerto Nariño.
• Magical sunset on the Tarapoto lakes, observing pink and gray dolphins.

Returning to the Mountain
• Breakfast at the hotel.
• In the morning, enjoy a walking city tour of the walled city, its artisan and emerald shops, have coffee in its colonial plazas, and experience daily life in Cartagena.
• Check-out from the hotel is at 12:00 pm.
• Lunch is at your own expense.
• At the designated time, our staff will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the airport for your return flight to Bogotá.
